What I'm thinking about: Narrative Theology
Here is an excellent article by Leslie Leyland Fields on the burgeoning interest in narratives among theological circles. It's an honest reflection on the benefits of the movement as well as a compassionate call to consider whether or not a narrative can hold all that the Bible proclaims. Her suggestion near the end, to embrace "Literary Theology" is compelling and intriguing.
